Joleine

Bassist

Joleine, an accomplished musician since the age of 16, began her artistic journey as a trumpeter trained at the Saint Gabriel School of Music in Lascahobas. She was later introduced to the bass guitar, an instrument that would become her true passion.

Her first musical experiences took place with the Echo of Lascahobas marching band, as well as in several churches and troubadour groups in her region. These engagements allowed her to develop strong musical skills and immerse herself in various musical styles and cultures.

After leaving Haiti, Joleine gained valuable musical experience with the group Artiz and at Saint Vital Church in Montreal, where she played for four years. This period helped her refine her style and expand her musical repertoire. She was also part of the group Klasik-O, which allowed her to further grow on the Canadian music scene.

Today, Joleine is the founder and bassist of the group Rezo Mizik. Since the group’s major debut, she has become a true sensation for audiences around the world. Her talent, stage presence, and infectious passion have made her one of the rare female bassists in the music industry.
